Presentation

Studio Camille supports Les Voiles d'Yvoire, the second largest regatta on Lake Geneva, in its structuring and professionalization. The aim is to anchor the event in the regional nautical calendar, attract major partners and offer a powerful experience for crews and spectators alike. In 2024, this means: 41 competing boats, 1,000 visitors on the quays, a lively village, a masterclass, a photo competition presided over by Jean-Louis Duzert and a traveling exhibition with two vernissages in Geneva.

Context

The initial observation was very clear: most regattas on Lake Geneva operated in a vacuum. Little communication, few prospects for growth, an image restricted to a circle of initiates - difficult, in these conditions, to attract a new public or to establish the event in the regional cultural landscape.

To perpetuate Les Voiles d'Yvoire and remain in line with the upscale positioning of the medieval village of Yvoire - a renowned tourist destination - it was necessary to make a change of direction.

Firstly, to structure a clear and coherent communication strategy, laying the foundations for a strong image, capable of speaking to both insiders and the general public. Secondly, to give the event a more public, more cultural, more festive dimension, by becoming more deeply rooted in the local fabric and making the regatta more visible, more lively. Thirdly, while retaining the unique DNA of Les Voiles d'Yvoire, a broader ambition has emerged: to come closer, in terms of both organization and reputation, to the great Lake Geneva standards, in the image of the Bol d'Or.

Mission

We're working hard to enhance the value of the event, by adding new formats for this type of regatta.

Our concrete actions: building partner loyalty through tailor-made activations and exclusive rewards; promoting the photo competition as a cultural lever, with a renowned jury and press relays; a large-format 15-panel exhibition, installed in June to tease the event in the village; operational management of volunteers to ensure a smooth welcome and experience for visitors; organization of two vernissages in Geneva at the Espace Diorama, bringing together photographers, partners and racers in a prestigious setting.

This hybrid approach - combining sport, culture and events - has helped to change the regatta's image and firmly establish Les Voiles d'Yvoire as a major event on Lake Geneva.
